Sleepy Time Cherry Limeade

This recipe is a super simple herbal version of the viral Sleepy Girl Mocktail, but instead of magnesium powder, it utilizes relaxing herbal tea. In this case, I opted for Time Out Tea because it is my favorite for calming nerves and relaxing the brain for sleep. It is also great for helping to restore the nervous system after times of stress and anxiety. However, you can use any herbal tea you prefer for this recipe.

Additionally, feel free to substitute the granulated sugar for any sweetener you prefer.

Time Out Cherry Limeade

1/2 to 1 whole lime, sliced into wedges

1 to 2 tablespoons granulated sugar

1 cup chilled Timeout Tea

1/2 cup tart cherry juice

In a glass jar with a screw on lid, add sliced limes and sugar. Muddle to release juice from limes. Add ice and chilled tea. Tighten the lid and shake well. Stir in cherry juice and serve.
